Grilled 3 - 1 ChAmPzz

848 spectators had come to The Cooking Pot this cloudy day. Fernán Brandariz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Elio van Helfteren and Juul Urbanik. Grilled decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Abed-Sulaiman - Fredgård, Paullin, Zywczyn - Spirig, Han Kok, Kek-Tjiang, Rottman, van Liere - Kadak, Martinsson.

ChAmPzz decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Ödahl - Claesson, bin Mat Jusoh, Mbazia - Yah-Lin, Jong-chih, Chu, Duvfeldt - Böni, Tranberg, Hägerflod.

ChAmPzz seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. ChAmPzz's Tore Tranberg was shown a yellow card after 2 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Dani Spirig's experience almost gave Grilled a goal after 6 minutes but the keeper made a great save. Grilled fans held their breath as Jon Andrea Rottman scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the go-ahead goal for 1-0! Grilled had to make a substitution after 18 minutes. Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman limped off the field and was replaced by Hang Bao-Tam. Grilled added another goal to their lead as Hidde van Liere struck home the 2 - 0 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

After an industrious effort down the middle, Shen Kek-Tjiang could have closed the game off after 50 minutes, but his finishing shot hit the post. With 60 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, ChAmPzz showed some good morale and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when Zhao Jong-chih got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. 63 minutes in, ChAmPzz's Kalle Hägerflod received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Unfortunately for Grilled, Jon Andrea Rottman was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. Lee Jie Siong replaced him. After 84 minutes, Lee Jie Siong put Grilled ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. ChAmPzz's Jiang Yah-Lin was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 85 minutes. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Most important Grilled player was Shen Kek-Tjiang. Hang Bao-Tam was a disappointment, however. ChAmPzz's top performer was clearly Michael Duvfeldt. Iwan Böni on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
