Grilled 2 - 0 Singapore

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 85263 to The Cooking Pot. Jacques Gruson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Diego Sánchez and Thomas Rue. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Abed-Sulaiman - Bona, Falkbo, Liehner - Jie Siong, Rottman, Han Kok, Siu-Yue, Borup - Wai-Kin, Martinsson.

Singapore started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Xiaolun - Chan, Choi-Lin, Hee-Jun - Quang-Nhut, bin Jantan, Kwee-Lee, Yong-chul, Yueh-Hsyan - Shiu-Loong, Ragnin.

Grilled clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. Singapore immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. Grilled took the lead 6 minutes into the game by 1 to 0, as Fabian Bona elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The referee showed Singapore's Jan Ragnin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Terkel Borup got himself booked. 37 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Jon Andrea Rottman dashed through, knocking home 2 - 0 for Grilled. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 63 percent of possession.

Singapore's ability to press their opponents all over the field paid off frequently. Singapore pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. 75 minutes in, Grilled's Au-Yong Siu-Yue received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 62 percent of possession.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. Terkel Borup on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Singapore player was without a doubt Chew Xiaolun. However, Ni Shiu-Loong made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
