Grilled 5 - 0 Anfield

scorching day at The Cooking Pot, where 71848 spectators were in place for today's match. Karlludwig Schabenberger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jelle Gaffar and Jonathan Bohnenberger. Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Abed-Sulaiman - Tuan-Mu, Spirig, Falkbo - Borup, Siu-Yue, Kek-Tjiang, Rottman, Paullin - Wai-Kin, Martinsson.

Anfield tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Duncan - Rogersson, Tellén, Irhall - Molan, Motley, Kootstra, Iriarte Calvo - bin Abu Bakar, An Yi, bin Rasdi.

Anfield had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 4 minutes in when Suhaimi bin Rasdi came up alone against Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman who managed a block. 5 minutes in, Grilled's Au-Yong Siu-Yue received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Anfield were forced to a substitution as Marcus Rogersson couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Chen Khuong to come in from the sidelines. They were singing the praises of Jon Andrea Rottman 7 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from just outside the centre part of the opponent's penalty area found its way over the visitors keeper to make the score 1 - 0 for Grilled. Dallas Duncan was caught napping as Ola Martinsson lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. Grilled put themselves up 2 - 0 when Terkel Borup broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. The referee showed Anfield's Jan Tellén the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The player down was Jörgen Falkbo. The Grilled bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 60 percent of possession.

After 47 minutes, Lorenz Paullin put Grilled ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. By now, Grilled were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile Jack Motley. Suhaimi bin Rasdi could've grabbed a goal for Anfield 55 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. With 61 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Ola Martinsson, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Chen Khuong of Anfield received a yellow card after 67 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Jörgen Falkbo putting the lead up to 5 - 0. After 80 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Cao Wai-Kin might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Dallas Duncan made a spectacular save. 82 minutes into the game, Ola Martinsson had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Ulf Hjortlind. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 58 percent of possession.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. Lan Tuan-Mu on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Anfield player was Jack Motley. Chen Khuong on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
