Grilled 3 - 2 Titus

000 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Ben Dombai was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rutgerus van Vreeswijk and Ulf Leijonbo. Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Harlow - Alcántara, Bona, Falkbo - van Liere, Siu-Yue, Rottman, Kek-Tjiang, Paullin - Langeland, Martinsson.

Titus had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Yukpui - Dae-Young, Wee-Cheong, Yiu-Bong - Kong-Phay, Ee-Van, Thuy, Chien-Hui, bin Yusof - Läfner, Mei-Kuen.

Grilled were very close to putting themselves one up after 10 minutes as Jan Langeland got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Titus had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 11 minutes in when Miao Ee-Van came up alone against Clair Harlow who managed a block. Grilled took the lead 19 minutes into the game by 1 to 0, as Ola Martinsson elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Lorenz Paullin of Grilled was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish Chan Dae-Young, which resulted in the 2 - 0 goal. Titus breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 22 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 52 percent of possession.

Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Au-Yong Siu-Yue squirmed himself through their central defence after 66 minutes, bringing the lead to 3 - 0. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Titus managed to reduce to 3 - 1 as Stefan Läfner finished off a well-played combination from the left, carving through the defensive box. A bit later, Titus's Tang Mei-Kuen easily reduced to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Titus were close to putting the equaliser away after 78 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to Bing Kong-Phay in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Au-Yong Siu-Yue. Luis Alcántara was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Titus player was without a doubt Jiu Thuy. Tang Mei-Kuen on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
