Bulls 0 - 4 Grilled

03 spectators arrived at Fossa dei Leoni, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Manuele Betta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Krisztián Mihályi and Albertino Angelino. Bulls tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. They fielded: Baldacchino - Filletti, Luukas, Paciotti, Duca - Gregory, Duthoit, Griffiths, Lautier - Vallmitjà, Lundberg.

Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Harlow - Stanton, Bona, Falkbo - Paullin, Borup, Spirig, Han Kok, Siu-Yue - Langeland, Martinsson.

It was an obvious ambition of Bulls to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. With 20 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. Terkel Borup put the ball away for 0 - 1. Clifford Baldacchino kept the home side in the game with a magnificent save when Ola Martinsson delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far post. The away team's Ola Martinsson took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 27 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. Jan Langeland came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle, but he lifted the ball over Clifford Baldacchino and it was a little too high and hit the bar. Ola Martinsson could have put his team up another goal 33 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 82 percent.

Jörgen Falkbo could have put his team up another goal 81 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 81 minutes, making it 0 - 3. Ola Martinsson was noted down as the scorer. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Jan Langeland was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 81 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Quah Han Kok received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 82 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 83 minutes, making it 0 - 4. Jan Langeland was noted down as the scorer. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 89 percent of possession.

The most dominating Bulls player was without a doubt Gordon Gregory. However, Stephen Griffiths made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's best player was Jörgen Falkbo. Asher Stanton on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 4.
