Stars 2 - 3 Grilled
851 spectators had come to All Stars Team Arena this cloudy day.
Simo 'Animal' Jokinen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jo Ligtvoet and
Luis María Almeida. Stars tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Martínez - Saguir, Tänzler, Bartelsdorf - Koaeana, Delang, Visoiu, Åkesson, Buse - Soo-Soou, Stensson.
Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Harlow - Falkbo, Bona, Tuan-Mu - Paullin, Kek-Tjiang, Rottman, Stanton, van Liere - Langeland, Martinsson.

Clair Harlow, who made a spectacular block. After 30 minutes
Per Stensson made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to
Kong Soo-Soou who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 1 - 0. 36 minutes into the game Grilled's
Fabian Bona found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1. Stars had to make a substitution after 37 minutes.
Falko Delang limped off the field and was replaced by
Francis Stout. Grilled's
Ola Martinsson gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 38 minutes with a superb strike from the right. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. No one team arose to dominate this half, ending in a deadlock.
Ola Martinsson came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle, but he lifted the ball over
Omar Martínez and it was a little too high and hit the bar.
Kong Soo-Soou pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, after 77 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. Grilled took the lead 77 minutes into the game, scoring the 2 - 3 goal after some elegant plays down the middle.
Ola Martinsson was the scorer. As
Dan Visoiu had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Stars player a red card without batting an eyelid. Grilled were forced to a substitution as
Jan Langeland couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing
Ulf Hjortlind to come in from the sidelines. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 60 percent possession of the ball.
Stars's best player was
Björn Åkesson.
Francis Stout on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt
Hidde van Liere. However,
Ulf Hjortlind made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
