duke's 1 - 5 Grilled

ather conditions were fairly good for football, and Lemon Puff Arena saw a crowd turnout of 70335. Andrin Reighart was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Matteo Cirillo and Aleksander Kwaśniewski. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. duke's had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Chin-Yao - bin Man, Alexandersson, Haastrup - Pungã, Lins Melo, Iorga, Killhult, Marascalchi - Mekelburg, Valiente.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Harlow - Falkbo, Bona, Tuan-Mu - Paullin, Kek-Tjiang, Spirig, Stanton, van Liere - Langeland, Martinsson.

duke's were relying on their ability to counter-attack. With 1 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by duke's's Matteo Marascalchi reached Viorel Pungã's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 1 - 0. The visiting team's Jörgen Falkbo was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 12 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. Grilled had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 17 minutes in when Dani Spirig came up alone against Chu Chin-Yao who managed a block. After 39 minutes duke's's Luis Valiente had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. Wang Jia-Ting came in to replace him. Grilled's Hidde van Liere gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 42 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Ola Martinsson came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle, but he lifted the ball over Chu Chin-Yao and it was a little too high and hit the bar. The referee showed duke's's Ingolf Mekelburg the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.

Grilled increased the lead to 1 - 3 as Ola Martinsson scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. Jan Langeland was, after 56 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but home side's keeper Chu Chin-Yao made the save. Grilled's Shen Kek-Tjiang received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 66 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 1 - 4 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 77 minutes, making it 1 - 5. Asher Stanton was noted down as the scorer. With 85 minutes played, Grilled's Dani Spirig fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Dani Spirig for diving. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 66 percent of possession.

Most important duke's player was Anders Killhult. Wang Jia-Ting on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was Shen Kek-Tjiang. However, Lan Tuan-Mu made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 5.
