Grilled 6 - 0 Superstars

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 1891 to Gamma Stadium. Toine Fetter was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jesper Mangor and Richard Slikkerveer. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Semprún Balenciaga - Hua, Tuan-Mu, Siu-Cheung - Machado, Seng-kar, Yew-Hoe, Magnusson, Pence - Attimarad, Hobson.

Superstars tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: MacWalrick - Kumar, Dean, Severac - Trump, Kerrigan, Donlevy, Fay, Low - McDonough, Cray.

Svarpati Attimarad of Grilled was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish Cab Dean, which resulted in the 3 - 0 goal. With 33 minutes played, Ricard Machado could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Grilled's Chai Yew-Hoe got himself booked for a foul. After 34 minutes Superstars's Blane Donlevy contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 4 - 0 as Svarpati Attimarad finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. At 36 minutes, the visitors got a chance to reduce the score when a penalty was awarded, but Barrett Cray, intimidated by the crowd, missed it. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 68 percent possession of the ball.

56 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Tim Hobson" alt="Tim Hobson">Tim Hobson dashed through, knocking home 5 - 0 for Grilled. With 71 minutes having been played, Grilled's Chai Yew-Hoe had to leave the pitch after receiving his second booking. Superstars breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 71 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar. Grilled's best player was Lan Tuan-Mu. However, Peter Magnusson made a disastrous appearance. Most important Superstars player was Brian Trump. Dylan Severac was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
