STLFANS took the lead 66 minutes into the game by 3 to 2, as Bill Krueger elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The structure of the game started to change as STLFANS decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by Tan Ong rendered him his second booking of the match, and Grilled had to finish the game with a reduced squad. Bill Krueger should probably have put his team up another goal after 83 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Tomás Semprún Balenciaga kept the visitors in the game. With 87 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, Rafael García Sole needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. STLFANS claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.

STLFANS's best player was Carlos Zarza. Joshua Castle was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was Lan Tuan-Mu. Peter Magnusson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
