No.1 0 - 8 Grilled

77 spectators arrived at No.1William Monaci was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niels Neugebauer and Michael Zengerle. Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. No.1 had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Di Biase - Dahlsgaard, Jørgensen, Nygård - Hastrup, Slet-Pedersen, Mihlabi, Sinimäe, Bengtsen - Rutu, Taaning.

Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Bao-Tam - Pakpao, Tuan-Mu, Seng-Huat - Fernández Riviera, Paullin, Han Kok, Spirig, Rottman - Langeland, Hjortlind.

No.1 saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Grilled took the lead 8 minutes into the game, scoring the 0 - 1 goal after some elegant plays down the middle. Ulf Hjortlind was the scorer. Nui Pakpao increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 2. With 15 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Jon Andrea Rottman. The visitors' Jan Langeland took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 21 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Grilled. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Jan Langeland of Grilled received a yellow card after 29 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 79 percent of possession.

Massimo Di Biase kept the home side in the game with a magnificent save when Antonio Fernández Riviera delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far post. The visitors' Jan Langeland took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 70 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Grilled. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 80 minutes, making it 0 - 6. Jan Langeland was noted down as the scorer. This third goal made a hat trick for Jan Langeland. The game had been on for 81 minutes when Jan Langeland broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 82 minutes, Svend Jørgensen tired completely, but his teammates managed to cover for his mistakes. Jan Langeland increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 8. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

The most dominating No.1 player was without a doubt Karsten Hastrup. Massimo Di Biase was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was Jan Langeland. Antonio Fernández Riviera on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 8.
