Grilled 0 - 1 Winning

139 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Sébastien Toulouse was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Claes Jeppsson and Erwin Weitzmann. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Harlow - Alcántara, Bona, Dewilde - Noor Yadah, Kek-Tjiang, Rottman, Siu-Yue, Dai-Lin - Langeland, Martinsson.

Winning had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Pinchetti - Håkansson, Allen, Kolozsvári - Sulecki, Nederwald, Klintskog, Silverling, Ketteringham - Hjorting, Avramidis.

Winning clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. After a fine move down the middle Ola Martinsson nearly gave the home side a goal after 5 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. Grilled were very close to putting themselves one up after 26 minutes as Ola Martinsson got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Jan Langeland of Grilled received a yellow card after 30 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Winning had a good opportunity to score the lead goal but the home team's goaltender Clair Harlow saved Nikos Avramidis's shot that was headed for the top corner from the right. 39 minutes into the game, Hans Hjorting was a hair's breadth away from giving Winning the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by Clair Harlow saved the home team that time. David Klintskog had a good try after 39 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

Winning's 0 - 1 goal came on a questionable penalty, but Sammy Ketteringham struck that one home without a second thought. Sammy Ketteringham could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. The referee showed Grilled's Au-Yong Siu-Yue the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Winning came close to extending their lead as Nikos Avramidis delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 85 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. When Au-Yong Siu-Yue made yet another studs-first tackle after 87 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Grilled player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. Winning were forced to a substitution as Sammy Ketteringham couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Arvo Myllykoski to come in from the sidelines. Winning held the ball, with a clear 57 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Shen Kek-Tjiang. Johan Dewilde on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Winning player was without a doubt Tom Pinchetti. Arvo Myllykoski was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
