WFC's right side looked dangerous 49 minutes in, but Valdir Dias Paes made a good save on Vick Smeets's hard shot to the top corner. In a fantastic display of determination, WFC's Tom Breitung forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. WFC claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Badrul Afzan bin Mustapa turned in a dismal performance, however. Mikhail Zhigalko performed admirably for WFC. On the other hand, Tom Breitung's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 0.
