Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Dias Paes - Árva, Lik-Tsun, Talib - Penati, Branbilla, MacKinnon, Han Kok, 达荣 (Darong) - Rotteveel, bin Ku Zainol.

Grilled took the lead after 8 minutes with 0 - 1. Maikel Rotteveel placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. With 14 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Zoltán Árva. In a rapid move 26 minutes into the match, Ciro Penati of Grilled lost his man, passed the ball to the unmarked Maikel Rotteveel who easily hit it home for the 0-3 goal. Ciro Penati came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle, but he lifted the ball over Prince Simbajon and it was a little too high and hit the bar. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 70 percent of possession.

The visitors' Maikel Rotteveel took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 53 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Grilled. This third goal made a hat trick for Maikel Rotteveel. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 58 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 5 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. EL-KHAWAJAT's Prince Simbajon left the field after 73 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Essa Camhi. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 74 minutes, making it 0 - 6. Maikel Rotteveel was noted down as the scorer. EL-KHAWAJAT will have to do without Purwanto Kartiko for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 81 minute mark. He was substituted by Alp Yakut. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 70 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating EL-KHAWAJAT player was without a doubt Uthman Mustafa. Achinta Aslam on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly Subri bin Ku Zainol. Han Lik-Tsun turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
