soccerid seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Grilled. soccerid's Terje Myran was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 21 minutes. 35 minutes into the game, John MacKinnon finished off a left wing counter attack, scoring 0 - 1 for Grilled. 36 minutes into the game, Grilled were awarded a penalty and Maikel Rotteveel was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 2 rolling the ball in by the right post. The referee showed soccerid's James Debbaut the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled's Quah Han Kok left the field after 39 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Ivaylo Mirchev. One of many good passes from 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) at the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by Maikel Rotteveel, scoring the 0 - 3 goal for Grilled. By now, Grilled were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. A long pass from the defence of Grilled resulted in a counterattack that set John MacKinnon free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. soccerid claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

The referee signalled a penalty 64 minutes into the game following an offence just inside of the box. Maikel Rotteveel knocked home the 0 - 4 goal just outside the reach of the goalkeeper. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Maikel Rotteveel. soccerid's Mohd Farid bin Abd Karim found himself alone on the left side 79 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as Daniele Ciappesoni tried lifting the ball over keeper Valdir Dias Paes. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. soccerid held the ball, with a clear 76 percent of possession.

Duncan Wallwork performed admirably for soccerid. However, Chamid Abed-Sulayman made a disastrous appearance. Most important Grilled player was Matthias Branbilla. On the other hand, Zulkiflee bin Othman's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
