The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Subri bin Ku Zainol, but the Grilled player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! With 10 minutes played, Thorocozzieq's 胡 (Hu) 超立 (Chaoli) fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked 胡 (Hu) 超立 (Chaoli) for diving. A well-executed free kick by Maikel Rotteveel after 15 minutes made it 2 - 0 for Grilled. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Maikel Rotteveel after 21 minutes. Damião Penas's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some amazing plays that fooled the defence. Grilled's Quah Han Kok saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 35 minutes. When Damião Penas was badly injured by a couple of strong tackles after 37 minutes, Thorocozzieq fans were unhappy to discover that it was not possible to make a substitution. 38 minutes into the game, Thorocozzieq had difficulty finding their positions and their organization dropped to solid. Cheers filled the stadium as 胡 (Hu) 辉洪 (Huihong) broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 4 - 0 goal for Grilled. Confident in their lead, Grilled decided to play a more defensive game at this point. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

During the break, Thorocozzieq's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organization. 47 minutes into the match Grilled's Subri bin Ku Zainol head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. 59 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Maikel Rotteveel dashed through, knocking home 5 - 0 for Grilled. By then Maikel Rotteveel was a three time scorer - a hat trick! 63 minutes in, Thorocozzieq appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only weak. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 6 - 0 as Maikel Rotteveel finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. With 81 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Quah Han Kok, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Nawaz Talib increased Grilled's lead to 8 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 75 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. However, 胡 (Hu) 辉洪 (Huihong) made a disastrous appearance. Eugeniusz Rozwora performed admirably for Thorocozzieq. Mário Nunes was a disappointment, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
