napoleonskaya 2 - 3 Grilled

scorching day at napoleonskaya gvardiya Arena, where 3192 spectators were in place for today's match. Stefano Orboeck was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Maurits Plattel and Jaleel Khallali. napoleonskaya tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. Lineup: Padrão - Timiryazev, Osokin, de Pablos, Avitan - Österström, Molnár, Dinu, Bak, Hunt - Peart.

Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Harlow - bin Che Lah, Pakpao, Dewilde - Fernández Riviera, Ju-Hau, Paullin, Rottman, Kolesov - Stern, Hobson.

napoleonskaya seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Grilled's Zhan Ju-Hau could have put the guests one up after 12 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but Sérgio Padrão was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. 15 minutes in, Grilled's Nor Suhaimi bin Che Lah received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Many thought Víctor de Pablos ought to have been awarded a penalty shot 17 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around Clair Harlow after a determined run through the middle. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. napoleonskaya held the ball, with a clear 56 percent of possession.

Jon Andrea Rottman of Grilled received a yellow card after 56 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 64 minutes into the game, Tim Hobson" alt="Tim Hobson">Tim Hobson was a hair's breadth away from giving Grilled the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by Sérgio Padrão saved the home team that time. With 73 minutes played Vali Dinu almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. napoleonskaya held the ball, with a clear 63 percent of possession.

As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. After a fine move down the middle Felix Avitan nearly gave the home side a goal after 95 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. The result was still a draw, so the match had to be settled with penalties.

napoleonskaya's Veniamin Timiryazev didn't hesitate but Clair Harlow managed the save, resulting in an unchanged 0 - 0 score. Grilled's Joe Stern made no mistake. Sérgio Padrão didn't have a chance. 0 - 1. napoleonskaya's Sérgio Padrão showed he has nerves of steel when it comes to penalty contests, easily changing the score to 1 - 1. Grilled's Tim Hobson" alt="Tim Hobson">Tim Hobson hesitated a long time before shooting a penalty going just wide of the left post. Still 1 - 1. napoleonskaya's Vali Dinu was seemingly taken by the gravity of the moment, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of Clair Harlow. Score still 1 - 1. Grilled's Johan Dewilde coolly put the ball past Sérgio Padrão. 1 - 2. napoleonskaya's Eddie Österström coolly put the ball past Clair Harlow. 2 - 2. Grilled's Nui Pakpao coolly put the ball past Sérgio Padrão. 2 - 3. napoleonskaya's Leroy Hunt didn't hesitate but Clair Harlow managed the save, resulting in an unchanged 2 - 3 score. Grilled's Nor Suhaimi bin Che Lah was seemingly taken by the gravity of the moment, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of Sérgio Padrão. Score still 2 - 3.

napoleonskaya's best player was Vagn Bak. Felix Avitan was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Clair Harlow. Tim Hobson" alt="Tim Hobson">Tim Hobson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.
