74 punters turned up at Quidditch Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Yllkuq Dollani was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Vít Hanzlík and Enrico Mauro Alume. The match took place on neutral ground. Grilled decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for SS. They fielded: Backx - Štern, Joensen, Bäckwald, Benković, Smutek - Liverani, Tlapák, Terrin, Tauschmann - Skov.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for SS on this day. 25 minutes into the game, Lars Anders Skov almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. There was concern in the stands when, at the 27 minute mark, Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed Grilled's Weng Seng-Huat a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 35 minutes into the game. Luca Terrin was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so SS's Dobromil Ondruš had to come off the bench. SS was now without a captain, so it was left to Leonhard Tauschmann to take the captain's armband. It was 0 - 0 at the break. SS held the ball, with a clear 60 percent of possession.

Sándor Deme of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for Ciro Penati to get the go-ahead goal after 52 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Vladimír Smutek of SS was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. SS held the ball, with a clear 60 percent of possession.

After the regular 90 minutes, the agony of overtime followed. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Peter Fjällbratt, but the Grilled player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! With that Grilled had won the game in extra time.

Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Luis Alcántara was a disappointment, however. The most dominating SS player was without a doubt Dobromil Ondruš. Leonhard Tauschmann turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
