Cyco 0 - 2 Grilled
000 spectators arrived at Cycodel, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Leo Rheinsberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mark Hämmerle and
Valentin Tomasović. Cyco decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Blachère - Bizzarri, Malcherczyk, Tomé - Govaert, Coppens, Stress, Sawicki, Pacheco - Sakıba, SarrÃa.
Grilled started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Starters: Dias Paes - Zywczyn, Lik-Tsun, Talib, Bona - Edmond, MacKinnon, Spirig, Han Kok, Paullin - Rotteveel.
For their match strategy, Grilled had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Cyco's
Jorge Horacio SarrÃa tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 17 minutes into the match, Grilled's
Lorenz Paullin demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to
Maikel Rotteveel who chipped it in for 0 - 1. Cyco put pressure on the visitors' central defence 22 minutes into the game, but
Jorge Horacio SarrÃa couldn't find an opening.
Valère Blachère kept the home side in the game with a magnificent save when
Sylweriusz Zywczyn delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far post. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.
A series of fine plays up the middle should have led to a goal for Cyco, but
Fernán Tomé's shot went over the bar. After 62 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
Lorenz Paullin who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.
Most important Cyco player was
Ben Coppens.
Eralp Sakıba was a disappointment, however. Grilled's top performer was clearly
Valdir Dias Paes.
Fabian Bona on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
