When Maikel Rotteveel made yet another studs-first tackle after 43 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Grilled player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Rollin' held the ball, with a clear 51 percent of possession.

Grilled's Subri bin Ku Zainol saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 47 minutes. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 59 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when Chua Min Fu tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. 64 minutes in, Rollin''s Chua Min Fu received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
