Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Grilled's opponents know to be wary of Lorenz Paullin's speed, but it made little difference as he blew past the defence 12 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! Making his way up the middle 19 minutes into the match, Anders Eriksson almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert Valdir Dias Paes blocked it to keep the score level. Grilled took the lead 26 minutes into the game, scoring the 0 - 1 goal after some elegant plays down the middle. Dani Spirig was the scorer. 29 minutes in, Herron's Florian Jähnisch received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. With a shot floated in from just outside the penalty area after 30 minutes played, Xie Meng Siong of Herron evened the score to 1 - 1. 32 minutes into the match, the speedy Maikel Rotteveel easily outpaced Chen Haupai to knock in the 1-2 goal. Xie Meng Siong made a superb strike after 32 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. 33 minutes into the match, Herron's Pian Hyoung-zoo maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 2 - 2. 37 minutes into the game, Nawaz Talib had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Fabian Bona. Halftime score was 2 - 2. Herron enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Gidi Zandberg gave Herron the lead with 3 - 2, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. Herron's Florian Jähnisch was delighted to score the 4 - 2 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing after 83 minutes. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Herron, with an impressive 59 percent possession of the ball.

Most important Herron player was Florian Jähnisch. On the other hand, Pian Hyoung-zoo's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Subri bin Ku Zainol. Fabian Bona turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
