Grilled 6 - 0 11Musketeers

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 5696 to The Acidic City. Aivo Kasemägi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ursul Cordes and Toke Flies. The match took place on neutral ground. Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Beckman - Zywczyn, Bona, Talib - van Liere, Jie Siong, Han Kok, Spirig, Fjällbratt - bin Ku Zainol, Rotteveel.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for 11Musketeers. Lineup: Pais - Ahmad, Cleary, Kerr - Kayser, Georgakakis, Polichronos, Griessler, Sunesson - Starsmore, Luginbil.

Grilled took the lead after 3 minutes, as a result of Subri bin Ku Zainol's awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right. 1 - 0. After 11 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Hidde van Liere might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Eduardo Pais made a spectacular save. Lee Jie Siong increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Grilled's Dani Spirig was delighted to score the 3 - 0 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing after 18 minutes. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Maikel Rotteveel should probably have put his team up another goal after 23 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Eduardo Pais kept the visitors in the game. 11Musketeers had to make a substitution after 30 minutes. Ruben Griessler limped off the field and was replaced by Matt Allen. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

After 59 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Sylweriusz Zywczyn might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Eduardo Pais made a spectacular save. 72 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Dani Spirig dashed through, knocking home 4 - 0 for Grilled. With 73 minutes played, 11Musketeers's Orestis Polichronos fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Orestis Polichronos for diving. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Subri bin Ku Zainol putting the lead up to 5 - 0. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Quah Han Kok squirmed himself through their central defence after 87 minutes, bringing the lead to 6 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 57 percent possession of the ball.

Quah Han Kok performed admirably for Grilled. Nawaz Talib turned in a dismal performance, however. Augustin Kayser performed admirably for 11Musketeers. Matt Allen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
