By now, Grilled were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. Shen Kek-Tjiang was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was perfectly redirected by Au-Yong Siu-Yue, but the ball went into the frame. Hu Yueh-shiou finished off the counterattack from the left rather easily, scoring 2 - 6 for Geylang. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 57 percent of possession.

Geylang's best player was Luo Ser-Kiat. However, Carlos Alberto Aguilar Bustamante made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Aznan Noor Yadah. Jon Andrea Rottman was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 6.
