magic saw most attack opportunities on the wings. For their match strategy, Grilled had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Sylweriusz Zywczyn enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Grilled was great at switching from defence to attack, and after 26 minutes, Ulf Hjortlind swept through in the middle after such a counterattack, making the score 0 - 1. 28 minutes into the match magic's Theunis Heijnen viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. After 29 minutes, Ismo Tarkkonen sprinted between the opposing defenders, but the keeper deflected Victor Thinggaard's shot. With 30 minutes played, magic's Victor Thinggaard found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 36 minutes into the match, an alert Jan-Karel Drent bagged the ball for magic, levelling the score to 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. magic enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 85 percent of possession.

magic made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Carl-Richard Ochsenhausen completely alone with keeper Hang Bao-Tam, who made a spectacular block. With 64 minutes played, Grilled's Peter Fjällbratt fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Peter Fjällbratt for diving. 70 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organization. After 72 minutes, Ismo Tarkkonen came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to put away the 2 - 1 goal, giving magic the lead. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in magic's Victor Thinggaard putting the lead up to 3 - 1. With 73 minutes played, magic put themselves up 4 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Ismo Tarkkonen, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Confident in their lead, magic decided to play a more defensive game at this point. 80 minutes into the game, Fabian Bona had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Luis Alcántara. magic enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 89 percent of possession.

magic's top performer was clearly Carl-Richard Ochsenhausen. Kfir Shelach on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was Dimitri Simon. Luis Alcántara was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
