Grilled managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when Fabian Bona cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After this, Grilled lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Klondike's Hanns-Georg Lindhaus was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 63 minutes. After an industrious effort down the middle, Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob could have closed the game off after 69 minutes, but his finishing shot hit the post. With 84 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, Romanus Oberrath needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. 85 minutes into the match, the speedy Àlex Valentín easily outpaced Luis Alcántara to knock in the 3-1 goal. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 4 - 1 as Ulf Hjortlind finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. Klondike claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Fabian Bona performed admirably for Grilled. However, Luis Alcántara made a disastrous appearance. Most important Klondike player was Andri Lattu. Mirco Brantner turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
