Grilled 4 - 5 TERFILI

14 punters turned up at The Cooking Pot, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Otto Bourquin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Yousif Abdalla and Carlos Pedrerol. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Bao-Tam - Alcántara, Tuan-Mu, Siu-Cheung - Chuan Jing, Jie Siong, Abd Hamid, Swee Pheng, Ødegaard - bin Yaacob, Hjortlind.

TERFILI decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The following players had been chosen: Imbach - Fridling, Månström, Broka, Isman - Toft Nielsen, Dean, Kilner, Bošek, Viskers - Geladakis.

The wings were the focus of most of TERFILI's attacks on this day. 15 minutes in, Grilled's Ulf Hjortlind received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The TERFILI player who had to be helped off the pitch, was Lenny Toft Nielsen as he was unable to finish the game. Willfried Köhler came in to finish the match. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. TERFILI held the ball, with a clear 53 percent of possession.

Some things can only be learned through experience, and Kau Siu-Cheung should take his lesson to heart after nearly giving TERFILI a goal with 62 minutes of the match played. TERFILI's Dylan Kilner was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Grilled were forced to a substitution as Qiu Swee Pheng couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Quah Han Kok to come in from the sidelines. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. Still tied after extra time, the crowd was buzzing as the teams prepared for a penalty contest to determine the winner.

Grilled's Ulf Hjortlind was relaxed as he smoothly put the ball in the net. 1 - 0! TERFILI's Marty Dean kept his cool as he faced down Hang Bao-Tam. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 1 - 1. Grilled's Luis Alcántara kept his cool as he faced down Pirmin Imbach. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 2 - 1. TERFILI's Thanassis Geladakis showed he has nerves of steel when it comes to penalty contests, easily changing the score to 2 - 2. Grilled's Hang Bao-Tam didn't hesitate but Pirmin Imbach managed the save, resulting in an unchanged 2 - 2 score. TERFILI's Kristofers Viskers showed he has nerves of steel when it comes to penalty contests, easily changing the score to 2 - 3. Grilled's Quah Han Kok kept his cool as he faced down Pirmin Imbach. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 3 - 3. TERFILI's Jimmy Månström coolly put the ball past Hang Bao-Tam. 3 - 4. Grilled's Lee Jie Siong made no mistake. Pirmin Imbach didn't have a chance. 4 - 4. TERFILI's Pirmin Imbach kept his cool as he faced down Hang Bao-Tam. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 4 - 5.

Most important Grilled player was Quah Han Kok. On the other hand, Kau Siu-Cheung's play was disheartening. Most important TERFILI player was Jimmy Månström. However, Willfried Köhler made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 5.
