Grilled International released two of their veterans on free transfers today, as the 39 year-old pair of Etienne Binder and Minür Nurettin Tütsü found pastures new. Swiss winger Binder returned to Zürich to rejoin V.10 former Gotthard Cup holders Dynamo Dietikon 09, who had also spent three seasons in Nationalliga A about that period.

While there are few indications that Dietikon will return to such glory anytime soon, Binder felt that he still had something to contribute to them, which had him turn down a comparable offer by Spanish Division Seven club Polldyamond. "It doesn't hurt that I am more familiar with the coaching badge process in Switzerland too."

North Macedonian striker Minür Nurettin Tütsü did however wind up in the Spanish seventh division, as he signed with VII.598 team UD Logroñes III on a one-year contract. While a title bid this season may be a bridge too far with infanteria verdiblanca eight points ahead, club gaffer Miguel Calle has been recruiting strongly with a view to the near future, with French midfielder Lech Gregor and Polish winger Krzysztof Brodacki joining up on either side of Tütsü.

The former International Number Nine did admit that he had been seriously considering retirement, but changed his mind when Logroñes came calling. "If they think I am good enough, why not?"

Head coach Sazwan bin Hj Muhd Salleh bid both worthies a fond farewell, and invited them to drop by whenever they return to Brunei.
