The business of regeneration never ends, or so Farmer Bunnies boss Vishnu Tallapaka commented, as he introduced academy graduate Masato Kitano to the assembled journalists at today's signing ceremony. This had been hinted at during Sawyer Won's inclusion a fortnight ago, and Tallapaka confirmed that it represents another stap in the Buns' coming rebuild.

"As I'm sure you have heard so much about - or said amongst yourselves - we are not exactly doing that well at the moment, and maybe not even know where we are going. Well, if this sounds like a good time to start afresh - it is."

Tallapaka admitted that there had not been much hype over the Rabbits youngsters, but that they possessed latent potential that might well surprise plenty of pundits. "It isn't easy to stand out nowadays, but they are some of the best kids that I have seen play in our academy. Masato has for one mostly been doing his job without any fuss, which may have had him overlooked by fans."
