Bunnies prodigy Kavi Chakraborty certainly made waves, with rumours that he had received no less than 91 inquiries and offers over the past week. In the end, he departed for Romanian VI.2 club 10 august for the relatively modest sum of S$472000, and will be based in Bucharest at their Shambala Arena, for the foreseeable future.

A rather more subdued ceremony over at The Cooking Pot saw 18 year-old Chicken Wings winger Teo Kong Choon leave for Polish VII.83 club AC MUKO on a free transfer about the same time, with Teo already kitted out in his new team's dark teal and white, with red socks. "He was great fun to watch in the youth league." Birds assistant coach Nuh Alawee Ramli grinned. "I don't doubt he will make it big somewhere!"
