It was a scorching day at the stadium today. It was a very hot day and some players suffered from this, especially those relying on tough physical play or a lot of fast runs. For the technical ones, on the other hand, this was ideal conditions. Kreuzberg's lineup was: Dubernet - Villari, Kinderman - Cannas, Zoller, Gorašević, Krupoviesa - Mohsen, Puig Leal, Thorning.

1. FC Kreuzberg 06 entered the field in a 2-4-3 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+5) level with that tactic. Grilled took the lead 12 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. Lim An Keng was the scorer. 17 minutes into the game, Kreuzberg had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to poor. The swift technical skills of Nikolaj Thorning were often too much for the tall but somewhat slow Raúl Himadas who was humiliated after 18 minutes. He'll be breathing a huge sigh of relief after the final shot went wide. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Raúl Himadas received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 20 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 26 minutes into the match, Grilled's Darko 'Donnie' Andrović demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to Gandhik Chitre who chipped it in for 0 - 3. 27 minutes into the game, Kreuzberg seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a wretched level of organisation. After 28 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Lim An Keng a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. After 41 minutes, Grilled's Gandhik Chitre burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. Halftime score was 0 - 6. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Kreuzberg had inadequate organisation. 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Aw Keng Chuan entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović was the new captain of Grilled - handed the armband by the departing player. After 50 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Chad Thach who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 7. Aw Keng Chuan was, after 68 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Alexandre Dubernet made the save. Kreuzberg refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, Nikolaj Thorning managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 7. The visitors' Mohd Marzuki Khairul took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 70 minutes into the match. 1 - 8 for Grilled. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 72 minutes into the match, Gandhik Chitre came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. As the 85 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović reluctantly made way for 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) on the pitch. 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) was handed the Grilled captain's armband. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Damian Hutter came on for Raúl Himadas. With Raúl Himadas no longer on the pitch, 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) took over free kick duty. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 1 - 8. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

The most dominating Kreuzberg player was without a doubt Nikolaj Thorning. Most important Grilled player was Gandhik Chitre.
