Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 4734 to
RWS_7 Arena.
Maurizio Arcione was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lucian Gavriş and
Jhonathan Méndez. The following players took the field for
RWSST:
Dudinskiy -
Nikulushkin,
Sahiwni -
Rose,
Hüseynli,
Kelander,
Qutugh,
Groiss -
Zhadaev,
Kaubris,
Givati.
The following players had been chosen by
Grilled:
Bok -
Hutter,
Keng Chuan -
田宮 (Tamiya),
Chitre,
El Khateeb,
An Keng,
Andrović -
Teck Fu,
Khairul,
Kwang Tse.
Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 2-5-3 formation.
Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their
divine (+2) level with that tactic.
Lukas Groiss gave
RWSST the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Central attacks were the recipe of the day for
Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. The visitors didn't give in and, after 27 minutes,
Hwang Teck Fu got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. The guests took the lead 29 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in
Gandhik Chitre scoring to make it 1 - 2. As the 35 minute mark approached, the
RWSST coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Vachir Qutugh reluctantly made way for
Pakhom Samoilov on the pitch.
Kendell El Khateeb received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 37 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The
Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
RWSST didn't give in and with 42 minutes played
Lukas Groiss was able to make the score 2 - 3 after an attack on the right. It was 2 - 3 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by
Grilled, with 61 percent of the ball.
46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a
Grilled substitution.
元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) came on for
Kendell El Khateeb. After 48 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Chia Kwang Tse a chance to increase the lead for
Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 4. It was obvious that team
Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. After 55 minutes,
Grilled's
Chia Kwang Tse burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 2 - 5. The visitors almost increased their lead after 66 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. After 67 minutes,
Markus Kelander had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for
RWSST with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar.
Gandhik Chitre was, after 72 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper
Petr Dudinskiy made the save.
Aw Keng Chuan left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
Radovan Jaška" class="awayplayer">
Radovan Jaška was the replacement.
Damian Hutter wanted to play on, but the
Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 89 minutes into the game by
Markus Pallas. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 2 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to
Grilled, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.
The most dominating
RWSST player was without a doubt
Orlando Rose.
Grilled's top performer was clearly
Hwang Teck Fu.
