Clear skies welcomed the 89044 spectators who had made their way to The Cooking Pot. Ueli Fransioli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bronisław Byczkowski and Daniele Tiralongo. The following players had been chosen by Joker: Schimmelpfennig - Cildermanis, Franco - Schumpbach, Chun Jun, Satishchandra, 小林 (Kobayashi), Rehn - Jian Jian, Gopalakrishnan, Fu Yew.

As the teams prepared to start the match, they both lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Joker demonstrated their world class creative tactics on the field. After 2 minutes of play, Mohd Marzuki Khairul gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Grilled's Darko 'Donnie' Andrović increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 15 minutes. 30 minutes into the match Raúl Himadas put Grilled ahead 3 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. Joker fought on and, after 32 minutes, Tay 'Lucky' Fu Yew was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. A precise pass from Chan 'Jayjay' Jian Jian made the goal possible. With 35 minutes played, Grilled's Hwang Teck Fu almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Vikas Satishchandra almost seemed to dance around 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai), his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for Joker, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. 39 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as Tay 'Lucky' Fu Yew anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 3 - 2. 40 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by Hans-Ulrich Rehn from Mario Schumpbach's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for Joker, making the score 3 - 3. With 41 minutes played Chad Thach almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Halftime score was 3 - 3. Grilled had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Grilled took the lead 48 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by Raúl Himadas that made the score 4 - 3. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Grilled to 5 - 3 as Raúl Himadas finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Raúl Himadas. After 59 minutes, 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) put Grilled ahead 6 - 3 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Hwang Teck Fu pulled the strings in the build-up. With 68 minutes played, Chad Thach could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After 70 minutes, Mario Schumpbach sent the corner kick right to Hans-Ulrich Rehn who headed it sharply past the keeper. 6 - 4! After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Raúl Himadas off the field. Damian Hutter took his place. As Raúl Himadas left the field, the coach signaled to 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) to be the new set pieces taker. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Paulino Trindade came on for Darko 'Donnie' Andrović. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) gave 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) a quick hug as he left the field. With 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) no longer on the pitch, 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) took over free kick duty. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 4 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. Joker were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 90 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to 大陸 (Tairiku) 小林 (Kobayashi), who smashed it home to make the score 6 - 5. The match ends 6 - 5. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Gandhik Chitre. Joker's top performer was clearly Tay 'Lucky' Fu Yew.
