After a fine move down the middle Chia Kwang Tse nearly gave the home side a goal after 14 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Making his way up the middle 29 minutes into the match, Mohd Marzuki Khairul almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert Amit Washington blocked it to keep the score level. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for Chad Thach to score after 31 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. A well placed corner kick from Raúl Himadas was followed by Lim An Keng's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Grilled, the score now 1 - 0. A great save by keeper Amit Washington after 34 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Brian 'Was Born' Reddy struck from the left with a real cannonball. Moeinsingapore had a chance to level the scores as Alex Oldenbeuving suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. With 38 minutes played, Mohd Marzuki Khairul could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Moeinsingapore almost scored after a swift counterattack 56 minutes into the game, but Yang 'The Ox' Feng Da put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. Amit Washington was caught napping as Raúl Himadas lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. As the match clock reached 78 minutes, Grilled's organisation began to suffer due to a lack of experience. Jerome Rego tied the game at 1 - 1 after 83 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Grilled's Chia Kwang Tse tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 85 minutes into the game, Mariano Clementz had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for Darko 'Donnie' Andrović to score after 106 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After 119 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) off the field. Dimitris Germanakos took his place. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Darko 'Donnie' Andrović took over the role of being the Grilled captain. Mohd Marzuki Khairul would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 119 minutes. 119 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Lim An Keng gave 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) a quick hug as he left the field. With the score still deadlocked after extra time, the teams took to the field for a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.

Grilled's Raúl Himadas made no mistake. Amit Washington didn't have a chance. 2 - 1. Moeinsingapore's Risto Haapola was relaxed as he smoothly put the ball in the net. 2 - 2! Grilled's Dimitris Germanakos coolly put the ball past Amit Washington. 3 - 2. Moeinsingapore's Akolie Lopez drove the ball hard to the corner but couldn't get it past the outstretched arm of Radomil Marcol. The score remains 3 - 2. Grilled's Radomil Marcol showed he has nerves of steel when it comes to penalties, easily changing the score to 4 - 2. Moeinsingapore's Goh Yew Shun cockily booted the ball with a short-and-fast instep. The penalty, going just wide of the mark, didn't produce a goal. When it comes to placing a ball precisely, Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han is a real wizard. He put it safely away for Grilled to make the score 5 - 2. The match ends 5 - 2. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Radomil Marcol. Most important Moeinsingapore player was Risto Haapola.
