2647 spectators had come to The Cooking Pot this cloudy day. Jaime Vallaure was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Dilip Patnaik and Constantin Nebel. Grilled fielded: Germanakos - Hutter, El Khateeb - Trindade, Chitre, Thach, An Keng, 田宮 (Tamiya) - Kwang Tse, Khairul, Teck Fu.

Marause's lineup was: Dixinn - Kalman, Diara, Nabé, Monemou, Dansoko - Drappier, Glendenning - Pedroza, Donoghue, Tutu.

It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 2-5-3 formation while the visitors instead opted for 5-2-3. After 6 minutes of play, Chad Thach gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Chad Thach squirmed through their central defence after 36 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. With 37 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Lim An Keng, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A great save by keeper Alhassane Dixinn after 40 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Chad Thach struck from the left with a real cannonball. After 41 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and Chad Thach gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. That made three goals for Chad Thach and he was marked down for the hat trick. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Dimitris Germanakos reluctantly made way for Dahan Bok on the pitch. 70 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Mohd Marzuki Khairul broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Grilled. Hwang Teck Fu went down in terrible pain, clutching his right ankle. He could not continue playing and had to be carried off on a stretcher after 71 minutes. This gave Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han a chance to take to the field instead. The corner kick from 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) was powerfully met by the head of Lim An Keng to make the score 6 - 0. The visitors got one back when Nahuel Pedroza finished off a pass from the left and scored after 75 minutes. 6 - 1 was the score. Grilled's Lim An Keng saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 81 minutes. With 82 minutes played, Grilled's Chad Thach almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. After 83 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Damian Hutter might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Alhassane Dixinn made a spectacular save. Nahuel Pedroza finished off the counterattack of Marause from the left rather easily, making the score 6 - 2. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Damian Hutter off the field. Atang Mangoye" class="homeplayer">Atang Mangoye took his place. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 3 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 6 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 69 percent of the ball.

Most important Grilled player was Chad Thach. The most dominating Marause player was without a doubt Nahuel Pedroza.
