After 43 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Mohd Marzuki Khairul a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. Leisure refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, Gasore Habimana managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 3. Hwang Teck Fu increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 4. 1 - 4 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Dimitris Germanakos would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Dahan Bok entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. One of many good crosses from Jean Murekatete on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by Francois Nshimiyimana, who scored for Leisure. 2 - 4 60 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 2 - 5 as 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 66 minutes played, Chia Kwang Tse of Grilled fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Grilled increased their lead after 70 minutes when Hwang Teck Fu broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Damian Hutter gave José Luiz Velho a quick hug as he left the field. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Chad Thach off the field. Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han took his place. The referee announced 3 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 2 - 6. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Most important Leisure player was Francois Nshimiyimana. Grilled's top performer was clearly Hwang Teck Fu.
