Aw Keng Chuan placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. 钱 (Qian) 凯英 (Kaiying) of happig received a yellow card after 22 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 27 minutes played, Mohd Marzuki Khairul nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Grilled's Chia Kwang Tse made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 28 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. After 38 minutes, Grilled's Aw Keng Chuan burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 40 minutes into the match, putting Grilled ahead 0 - 3. 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) was the scorer. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.

While defending the Grilled lead, Gandhik Chitre got a new role. 46 minutes in the game, his coach ordered him to change positions with Hwang Teck Fu. The visitors' Damian Hutter took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 50 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Grilled. After 56 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Gandhik Chitre a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. After 65 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Mohd Marzuki Khairul who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 6. Lim An Keng went down after twisting his left ankle in minute 66, but was able to continue the match none the less. With 72 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Mohd Marzuki Khairul. 80 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Aw Keng Chuan gave Chan Ze Han a quick hug as he left the field. Damian Hutter would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Bilal Mohammad Harun entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 80 minutes. After 88 minutes, the happig coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving 谢 (Xie) 道祥 (Daoqiang) off the field. Igor Čechovský took his place. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 3 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 0 - 7. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.

happig's best player was Igor Čechovský. 林 (Lin) 崇俊 (Chongjun) was a disappointment, however. Chia Kwang Tse performed admirably for Grilled. On the other hand, Bilal Mohammad Harun's play was disheartening.
