Together with Sing, Goh was possibly the best pure footballer that Sentosa FC had. As with Sim, however, his relative age worked against him in claiming a regular spot.

While he would never start for the reformed Bunnies, and made just three substitute appearances in his twelve more seasons with the club, Goh did carve a niche out for himself as an emergency target-man in friendly games.
