Slothful
Max Turnout
The club formerly known as MaShImArO had again been taken over, and are now known as A.C Sloth, which did nothing for their momentum. The new management at least has put in a coherent plan with a whole new batch of players, and although their 4-5-1 fared poorly against Grilled, their fans could at least see the idea behind it.
Sloth threw the big Zou Poh-Teck alone up front and busied themselves in knocking it high for him whenever they had the chance, and were doing well as Zou equalised after
Tim Hobson's long shot put Grilled in the lead.
That was to be the end of Zou's contribution, as Grilled discovered that they could stick two men on him without sacrificing much, and the Birds had Dewilde and Chen following Hobson on the scoresheet by the time half-time came around.
Right-sided fullback Shaw Cho-Cho was withdrawn through injury just before half time, and it was easy to see why Sloth were reluctant to deploy the admittedly-talented Che Harun Ishak. While accomplished athletically, the young tyro had absolutely no idea how to keep himself out of trouble.
After Chen got in close to make it 5-1, Che Harun made it his personal mission to stop the forward, and ended up with a yellow card by holding Chen with the ball nowhere near them. He only strayed once Hobson and Tellskär made it seven, and ended up receiving a second yellow card for a hopeless lunge on
Aznan Noor Yadah after the Grilled midfielder had gone past him and released a cross, which Dai-Lin scored from anyway.
