The 22422 spectators at tpyers Arena! were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Vinko Končurat was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Andre' Jones and Roy Albán. The intense heat made it hard for players relying on strength or speed to shine. On the other hand, it provided perfect conditions for the more technical players. tpyers's lineup was: Yi Ping - Ito, Mathew, Éloy, Dao, Rong Chin - Subramanian, Dizon, Boon Yeow - Ho Shi, Jing De.

The following players had been chosen by Grilled: Germanakos - Keng Chuan, 其材 (Qicai) - Reddy, Teck Fu, Kwang Tse, An Keng, Thach - Ming Xin, Thoroddsen, Tokarz.

tpyers started the game in a 5-3-2 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of tpyers, taking advantage of their world class (13) level with that tactic. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+6) (26) level with that tactic. A spectacular volley from Brian 'Was Born' Reddy almost resulted in a goal, but a good save from the keeper kept it out, and Chad Thach could only knock the loose ball wide. Grilled's Gústav Thoroddsen gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 33 minutes with a superb strike from the right. tpyers's Kwok Ho Shi was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 34 minutes. 39 minutes into the game, Kwok Boon Yeow came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. 40 minutes into the match, Gústav Thoroddsen came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

At the 53 minute mark, it looked like the opportunity for Grilled to score had been missed until Chad Thach suddenly worked his way clear and fired off a spectacular shot. The keeper had no chance! 0 - 2. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) was, after 59 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Kok Yi Ping made the save. A drive down the left side allowed Orest Tokarz to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 63 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. Grilled increased their lead after 66 minutes when Gústav Thoroddsen broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 74 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Phua Ming Xin who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 5. 75 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Aw Keng Chuan gave Damian Hutter a quick hug as he left the field. As Aw Keng Chuan exited the field, Phua Ming Xin volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Orest Tokarz received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 77 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Chan Ze Han came on for Phua Ming Xin. With Phua Ming Xin no longer on the pitch, Chan Ze Han became the new set pieces taker. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 6. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

tpyers's top performer was clearly Derek Dizon. On the other hand, Paul Dao's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Gústav Thoroddsen. Damian Hutter turned in a dismal performance, however.
