Damian Hutter, which resulted in a goal making the score 0 - 1. After 10 minutes of play,
Mohd Marzuki Khairul evened things up for Grilled with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. Grilled took the lead 15 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as
Phua Ming Xin elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. 24 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Paulino Trindade broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Grilled. The score became 4 - 1 at 30 minutes into the game, when Grilled were given a penalty which
Atang Mangoye blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Grilled increased the lead as
Mohd Marzuki Khairul struck to make the score 5 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. 5 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 79 percent of the ball.
Atang Mangoye would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Mohsen El Khateeb entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. As
Atang Mangoye left the field, the coach signaled to
Aw Keng Chuan to be the new set pieces taker.
Enrique Baena was the new captain of Grilled - handed the armband by the departing player. Grilled put themselves up 6 - 1 when
Damian Hutter broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
Ting Feng Hao was unable to continue, following a severe injury to his right knee, 67 minutes into the match. This gave
Ouda Adam a chance to take to the field instead. Cheers filled the stadium as
Mohd Marzuki Khairul broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 7 - 1 to Grilled. At that,
Mohd Marzuki Khairul was noted down for a hat trick! Grilled solidified their lead at the 74 minute mark, as
Mohd Marzuki Khairul dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 8 - 1.
Hwang Teck Fu could have put Grilled up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 78 minutes. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Ibnou Balde reluctantly made way for
Bilal Mohammad Harun on the pitch. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Gandhik Chitre off the field.
Kalki Parvathaneni took his place. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 3 minutes as stoppage time. Grilled's
Damian Hutter had an excellent opportunity after 90 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The match ends 8 - 1. Grilled had most of the ball, with 80 percent of possession.
Grilled's best player was
