The Grilled coach adjusted their lineup with 46 minutes gone. Aw Keng Chuan and Hwang Teck Fu assumed each other's positions. 46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Teo Chuan Yong gave José Luiz Velho a quick hug as he left the field. As Teo Chuan Yong exited the field, Gilbert Webb volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. Tuna's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 66 minutes gone, but Lars Rönnlind's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Atang Mangoye would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Radovan Jaška entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 70 minutes. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Mohsen El Khateeb came on for Gilbert Webb. With Gilbert Webb no longer on the pitch, Radovan Jaška took over free kick duty. Jan Adelén managed to make an excellent pass from the wing, but Adin Oković was not as skillful and couldn't finish it off. Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. Grilled had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Tuna's Bengt Larsson after 106 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. The match ends 0 - 1. Aw Keng Chuan performed admirably for Grilled. Manuel Vadalà turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Tuna player was Alejandro Santamaría. Tony Jansson was a disappointment, however.
