Grilled Birds started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas Red Yk lined up in a 4-3-3 formation. Red took a outstanding (10) creative approach on the field. After 19 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant. Radovan Jaška easily put the ball away to give the lead to Grilled. 1 - 0 With clinical precision, the cross from winger Paulino Trindade found its way to Chia Kwang Tse's head, and a screaming header gave Grilled the goal after 22 minutes played. 2 - 0 Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Chad Thach after 26 minutes. Atang Mangoye should probably have put his team up another goal after 29 minutes after breaking through the middle, but some great goalkeeping by Salar Madadian kept the visitors in the game. With 31 minutes played, Grilled's Chad Thach almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. With 32 minutes played, Chia Kwang Tse could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. A foul called during a Red counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but Oliver Egelseder's shot rattled off the post. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.

46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Chia Kwang Tse gave Lim An Keng a quick hug as he left the field. Encouraged by their lead, after 46 minutes the Grilled coach asked Gandhik Chitre to change positions with Hwang Teck Fu. After 56 minutes, the Red coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Oliver Egelseder off the field. Milad Rashedi took his place. As Oliver Egelseder left the field, the coach signaled to Ponciano Moreira to be the new set pieces taker. Grilled's Mohd Marzuki Khairul swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The head of Jahanbakhsh Souzani connected with a corner kick after 67 minutes, and the ball ended up with Maziar Taban of Red who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 3 - 1. Gandhik Chitre could have put Grilled up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 70 minutes. Radovan Jaška almost put Grilled ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. Red's Maziar Taban was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 75 minutes. Gandhik Chitre could have increased the lead after 78 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. The referee showed Red's Jahanbakhsh Souzani the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Atang Mangoye reluctantly made way for Chirag Thevar on the pitch. With 81 minutes gone, Grilled had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, Mohd Marzuki Khairul did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. 88 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Mohsen El Khateeb came on for Radovan Jaška. As Radovan Jaška exited the field, Prokop Mottl volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 3 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 79 percent of the ball.

Lim An Keng performed admirably for Grilled. However, Mohsen El Khateeb made a disastrous appearance. Red's best player was Vedad Mašić. Salar Madadian was a disappointment, however.
