Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 3919 to

2-5-3 was the choice of the day for both coaches. Grilled used their extra-terrestrial (16) ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 4 minutes allowed
Bilal Mohammad Harun to score for Grilled. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. After 18 minutes, Grilled's
Kalki Parvathaneni burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. After 26 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Teo Chuan Yong a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. After the ball was lifted in from the left,
Bilal Mohammad Harun was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 27 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The home crowd was not impressed when
Hwang Teck Fu came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 33 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 4. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.
46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Lim An Keng gave
Chia Kwang Tse a quick hug as he left the field. After 46 minutes, Grilled felt secure enough to make a tactical change.
Hwang Teck Fu and
Mohd Marzuki Khairul assumed each others positions on the field. 60 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
Chad Thach came on for
Teo Chuan Yong.
Kalki Parvathaneni received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 70 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. At 78 minutes into the game, Ftb IsLife's
Saihan Yesukai deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 5. The visitors'
Egemen Dinçer Ferzan took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 82 minutes into the match. 1 - 6 for Grilled. After 84 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
Chad Thach who increased Grilled's lead to 1 - 7.
Nicola Raspanti of Ftb IsLife received a yellow card after 86 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With the scoreboard showing that 87 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after
Egemen Dinçer Ferzan came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. After 87 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Chan Ze Han a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 8. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Bilal Mohammad Harun reluctantly made way for
Mohsen El Khateeb on the pitch. With
Bilal Mohammad Harun no longer on the pitch,
Chan Ze Han took over free kick duty. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 1 - 8. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 75 percent of the ball.
Candido Diana performed admirably for Ftb IsLife.
Kári Andrason was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was
Chan Ze Han. On the other hand,
Mohsen El Khateeb's play was disheartening.
