Grilled Birds fielded a 2-5-3 lineup. For Random Curiosity FC, the formation of choice was 3-5-2. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their mythical (17) level with that tactic. After 10 minutes, speedy Lars Eng dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, Falagh Hatami Nia failed to score. Curiosity had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 30 minutes in when Ujkan Kurmaku came up alone against Dimitris Germanakos who managed a block. Curiosity's Lars Eng gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 38 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Against a lesser team, Curiosity could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 40 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. The referee showed Grilled's Enrique Baena the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Ang Sze Tze increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Curiosity, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Bhavya Panigrahi missed an opportunity to score from the penalty spot 52 minutes into the match, dashing the hopes of the home side. Some fine movement on the left led to a Curiosity goal after 65 minutes, making it 0 - 3. Ujkan Kurmaku was noted down as the scorer. Ziad 'Zizou' Zahreddine would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Ingvi Gr�tarsson entered the game for Curiosity as the match clock showed 66 minutes. With Ziad 'Zizou' Zahreddine no longer on the pitch, Manuel August became the new set pieces taker. Falagh Hatami Nia wanted to play on, but the Curiosity coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 67 minutes into the game by Remmelt Stips. After 67 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Manuel August who increased Curiosity's lead to 0 - 4. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Moey Xin Seng reluctantly made way for Kalki Parvathaneni on the pitch. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Chan Ze Han took over the role of being the Grilled captain. 88 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Gandhik Chitre came on for Bilal Mohammad Harun. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 1 minute beyond the regular 90 minutes. A drive down the left side allowed Manuel August to get in close and score another goal for Curiosity after 89 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5. The match ends 0 - 5. Curiosity enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

Chan Ze Han performed admirably for Grilled. On the other hand, Enrique Baena's play was disheartening. Curiosity's top performer was clearly Manuel August. Lars Eng turned in a dismal performance, however.
