Clear skies welcomed the 2348 spectators who had made their way to
Overseas Secchi Guys Arena.

Kwang Tse,
Teck Fu,

Parvathaneni -
Jaška,
Chuan Yong.
The teams both lined up their players in 3-5-2 formations. Overseas took the lead after 16 minutes as a result of
Muhammad Fraser's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Overseas's
Roy Jemmott was shown a yellow card after 18 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
A slight injury to his right calf muscle meant
Chad Thach had to leave the match early. It happened after 18 minutes. The replacement for the injured player was
Paulino Trindade. Coming through the middle
Radovan Jaška almost scored the equaliser for Grilled after 20 minutes, but
Clinton Straughn made an excellent save, tipping the awkward curled shot past the post. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Overseas's
Bon Dunwell increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Overseas scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
Erroll Mullins after 26 minutes.
Muhammad Fraser would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Jean-Alain Pose entered the game for Overseas as the match clock showed 40 minutes. In the lead, Overseas adjusted their style of play with 40 minutes gone. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 51 percent of the ball.
70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
José Luiz Velho came on for
Radovan Jaška.
Radovan Jaška was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that
Teo Chuan Yong got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills.
Yee Jian Hui had a couple of good opportunities to reply after getting through the middle of the opposition defence, but the home team's keeper
Clinton Straughn was simply unbeatable. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by
Bon Dunwell. At last, Overseas's
Erroll Mullins was able to backheel the ball in. 4 - 0. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Overseas to 5 - 0 as
Roy Jemmott finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After 81 minutes,
Teo Chuan Yong chose the right corner while taking his penalty, humiliating the home keeper, who dived in the wrong direction. The goal reduced the home lead to 5 - 1. 85 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Teo Chuan Yong gave
Prokop Mottl a quick hug as he left the field. With
Teo Chuan Yong no longer on the pitch,
Kalki Parvathaneni took over free kick duty.
Kalki Parvathaneni was the new captain of Grilled - handed the armband by the departing player. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 5 - 1. Overseas had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
The most dominating Overseas player was without a doubt
Darren Ince. However,
Kelvin Jarvis made a disastrous appearance.
José Luiz Velho performed admirably for Grilled.
Mohsen El Khateeb was a disappointment, however.
