Grilled got a chance to level the scores in minute 28 as Kalki Parvathaneni suddenly found himself free with only the keeper to beat, but the finish hit the bar. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Grilled had the upper hand in possession, maintaining an impressive 54 percent possession of the ball.

With 54 minutes played, the visitors could have scored the tying goal after Moey Xin Seng came through the middle, but his kick went wide. Vistula's Angel Andreev saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates 61 minutes in. Vistula put themselves up 3 - 1 when Samuel Loury broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive delegation behind him.
