Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 87302 at The Cooking Pot today. Pavlo Tsvik was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ernesto Hämmerli and Rico Boghi. Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 2-5-3 formation. Grilled decided to play creatively at a divine (+2) (22) level. Joker showed off their titanic (15) creative tactics. The swift technical skills of David Losson were often too much for the tall but somewhat slow Moey Xin Seng who was humiliated after 8 minutes. He'll be breathing a huge sigh of relief after the final shot went wide. The visiting Nitin 'Tintin' Anchan was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 11 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. Always a threat, Máté Veseta tore past his marker and placed the ball right at the feet of the waiting Nitin 'Tintin' Anchan who should have easily scored for Joker, but the ball went wide. 34 minutes into the match, Grilled's Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. Joker's opponents know to be wary of Nitin 'Tintin' Anchan's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 35 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! Grilled took the lead 40 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as Kalki Parvathaneni elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Grilled's Chu Xin Lee was shown a yellow card after 41 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The visitors' David Losson was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 2 - 2 after 42 minutes. 44 minutes into the match, the speedy Nitin 'Tintin' Anchan easily outpaced Sølve Lunde, chipped the keeper and made the score 2 - 3. With 44 minutes played, Joker put themselves up 2 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Norshahrul Idlan Mohd Hassan. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Joker, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

47 minutes in, Joker's David Losson received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The visitors' Norshahrul Idlan Mohd Hassan took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 50 minutes into the match. 2 - 5 for Joker. After 80 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Sølve Lunde off the field. Gilbert Webb took his place. Norshahrul Idlan Mohd Hassan almost seemed to dance around Moey Xin Seng, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for Joker, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. After 84 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Tommaso 'Ketchup' Corvaglia who increased Joker's lead to 2 - 7. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Heng Dong Chu gave Shekar Kannan a quick hug as he left the field. Vikram Mudaliar would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Prokop Mottl entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 89 minutes. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 4 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni managed a superb strike from the left after 90 minutes that would have left goalkeeper Kedar Bany Hani without a chance, had it not hit the post. The match ends 2 - 7. Joker enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. On the other hand, Bilal Mohammad Harun's play was disheartening. Kedar Bany Hani performed admirably for Joker. Hatem Saâda on the other hand, had a terrible day.
