Clear skies welcomed the 4600 spectators who had made their way to
superjodu botswana s Arena.

Jacek Działek and
Gerrit Redase. superjodu's starters:

Casal -
Sekgoma,

田宮 (Tamiya),

Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 3-5-2 formation. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their extra-terrestrial (16) level with that tactic. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 2 minutes into the match left Grilled's
Douglas Carapaica completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
Bophelo Sibanda got a fingertip on
Teo Chuan Yong's shot from the left 8 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. A lovely run by superjodu's
Mpho Sekgoma left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. superjodu's
Rüdiger Herriger made an attempt at equalising 25 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. Good work by the Grilled defensive line after 26 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found
Radovan Jaška alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. superjodu's
Rüdiger Herriger was shown a yellow card after 27 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
Despite hurting his right foot at the 28 minute mark,
José Luiz Velho decided to keep playing. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for superjodu, but
Demir Abdulin's shot went over the bar. It was 0 - 1 at the break. superjodu enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
Kalki Parvathaneni came on for
Heng Dong Chu. As the 46 minute mark approached, the superjodu coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Joel Kgaswane reluctantly made way for
Mpho Olerile on the pitch. After 46 minutes, the superjodu coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Atang Kgaswane off the field.
Kitso Kgaswane took his place. 60 minutes into the game, superjodu wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Mpho Sekgoma gave
Moswen Ayanda a quick hug as he left the field.
Edward Katema was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for superjodu with a strike from the left, but
Manuel Vadalà managed to ward the shot off for a corner. With 71 minutes played, after a good run down the left,
Moswen Ayanda went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. superjodu tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. The referee showed Grilled's
Teo Chuan Yong the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Despite hurting his right foot at the 85 minute mark,
Alán Casal decided to keep playing.
Dante Tran would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Dan Alstani entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 89 minutes.
Atang Mangoye would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Leonard Nguyen entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 89 minutes. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by superjodu, with 52 percent of the ball.
Most important superjodu player was
Mario Salviati. On the other hand,
Moswen Ayanda's play was disheartening. Grilled's top performer was clearly
Teo Chuan Yong.
Dan Alstani on the other hand, had a terrible day.
