Grilled made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Vikram Mudaliar completely alone with keeper Alexandru-Cristian Ploscariu, who made a spectacular block. The referee showed Grilled's Bhavya Panigrahi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Renato Čubrić went down after twisting his right ankle after 35 minutes, and had to leave the pitch. Sorin Bertescu tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 36 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Salah Kamel, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. 41 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Grilled. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Kalki Parvathaneni gave Heng Dong Chu a quick hug as he left the field. Moey Xin Seng would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Teo Chuan Yong entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Chan Ze Han took over the role of being the Grilled captain. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Heng Dong Chu slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 3 - 0, 51 minutes into the game. Vikram Mudaliar should probably have put his team up another goal after 58 minutes after breaking through the middle, but some great goalkeeping by Alexandru-Cristian Ploscariu kept the visitors in the game. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Chu Xin Lee squirmed through their central defence after 59 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Sølve Lunde reluctantly made way for Douglas Carapaica on the pitch. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. A great save by keeper Alexandru-Cristian Ploscariu after 89 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Vikram Mudaliar struck from the left with a real cannonball. With 89 minutes played, Grilled's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 5 - 0. The match ends 5 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 70 percent of the ball.

Grilled's best player was Chan Ze Han. Shekar Kannan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Crypto player was without a doubt Maxwell Whitehead. However, Eduardo Miguieles made a disastrous appearance.
