Crypto Moon entered the field in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+5) (25) level with that tactic. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 0 - 1 was the score with 3 minutes played, after
Vikram Mudaliar cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Grilled. After 5 minutes of play,
Michal Cibulka evened things up for Crypto with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. After 20 minutes, Grilled's
Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. Grilled's
Moey Xin Seng placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but
Sølve Lunde couldn't finish. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. After 35 minutes, Grilled's
Moey Xin Seng burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 3. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
Kalki Parvathaneni wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by
Heng Dong Chu. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as
Zacharias Troch tried lifting the ball over keeper
Jānis Salmiņš. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. Crypto didn't give in and with 60 minutes played
Ben Göttler was able to make the score 2 - 3 after an attack on the right.
Sølve Lunde would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Bhavya Panigrahi entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 70 minutes. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
Salah Kamel came on for
Teo Chuan Yong. As
Teo Chuan Yong left the field, the coach signaled to
Bhavya Panigrahi to be the new set pieces taker.
Bhavya Panigrahi could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. After 83 minutes,
Douglas Carapaica took a hard knock between his legs. He needed a long breather but were eventually able to continue the game. The crowd roared in delight as
Francesco Codardo finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Crypto 84 minutes into the match. 3 - 3. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Grilled took the lead 87 minutes into the game, making the score 3 - 4 after some elegant movement down the middle.
Moey Xin Seng was the scorer. After 88 minutes of game time,
Vikram Mudaliar had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
Oldřich Skalička was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. 89 minutes in, Grilled's
Bhavya Panigrahi received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Crypto's
Zacharias Troch took a knock to the head after 89 minutes, due to a badly executed header. He looked wobbly for a second, but eventually just laughed it off and continued playing. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 4 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 3 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 57 percent of the ball.
Crypto's best player was
Michal Cibulka.
Oldřich Skalička was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was
Chan Ze Han.
Salah Kamel turned in a dismal performance, however.
