Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+2) (22) level with that tactic. Chu Xin Lee hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Grilled's Vikram Mudaliar an easy chance to knock it in for 0 - 1. Vikram Mudaliar was, after 13 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Idriss Dhouib made the save. 14 minutes into the match, Kalki Parvathaneni came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. With 21 minutes played, Vikram Mudaliar nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. LEFRI9I were awarded a penalty with 27 minutes played, and Luciano Graf von Zeppelin made no mistake as he effortlessly slotted the equaliser home. 1 - 1. Douglas Carapaica came close to putting the visiting team one up 32 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but Idriss Dhouib managed to tip the ball to a corner. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Idriss Dhouib looked great 50 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' Vikram Mudaliar. Kalki Parvathaneni made a nice dash down the wing after 71 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. 72 minutes into the game, Tronje Wimmer broke up a promising Grilled attack single-handedly, using just the right amount of physical pressure on the ball holder. 84 minutes into the game, Douglas Carapaica almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 1 minute. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! Still tied after 91 minutes, the match continued into extra time. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.

After 95 minutes, Grilled's Chu Xin Lee made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. Gilbert Webb wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 96 minutes into the game by 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya). Bhavya Panigrahi left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 96 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Chirag Thevar was the replacement. With Bhavya Panigrahi no longer on the pitch, Teo Chuan Yong became the new set pieces taker. The referee showed LEFRI9I's Hussein Hakimi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The match ends 1 - 2. LEFRI9I's best player was Idriss Dhouib. Wael Harouni was a disappointment, however. Chu Xin Lee performed admirably for Grilled. However, Chirag Thevar made a disastrous appearance.
